INTRODUCTION

This new Index of Topics page exists for two reasons:

1. To present information on health topics whose inclusion on my home page is not logically justifiable or readily conceptualized, and which are thus absent from that page.

2. To present fragments of health information not yet integrated into larger sections of material at this site (See topic Cancer, below, for example). The information comprising these fragments is considered accurate.

Before examining content on this Index page, you must engage in a careful read of that entire home page, or you will miss critical foundational information relevant to everyone, no matter their age, gender, malady suffered, or other characteristic. In other words, my home page contains the main body of health information present at this site, providing you the context and background knowledge required to properly and fully understand all and any other material at this site, including the topics, below.

Moreover, prior to searching for an individual topic here, on this page, read or search the home page for that topic, as even individual topics will receive their first, principal, and most substantive treatment there, when possible.

CANCER

Though cancers would seem to be caused by cell mutations initiated by exposure to environmental and other elements foreign to the proper structure and function of the human cell, as of May 2011, scientific understanding is that 15% of all human cancers are caused by viruses.
